Treasury Summer Paid Internship Program 2025
The 2025 World Bank Treasury Summer Internship Program is currently accepting applications.
A junior professional training program, the Treasury Summer Internship Program seeks to prepare participants for a stimulating and fulfilling future in finance.
The purpose of the program is to serve the development mission of the World Bank by bringing outstanding undergraduate students who have shown an interest in a career in finance.
After completing their degree program, the intern will be prepared to work as a Junior Analyst for two years in a single Treasury team. It is anticipated that interns will be in their second or last year of a four-year degree program.
The Internship
From May 27 to August 4, 2025, Treasury Summer Interns will work 10 weeks at full time in Washington, DC. After completing a unique onboarding program in the first week, interns rotate among three different Treasury teams for three weeks each.
Interns engage in weekly talks with the program director during the summer, and they also attend a speaker series on career perspectives where they hear from a variety of Treasury officers, managers, and directors. The almost 300-person Treasury is accessible to interns, and they can even meet the Vice President and Treasurer.
Presenting their work in a capstone project to the management team, interns wrap up their internship by presenting to their respective teams at the end of each cycle.
