Orange Corners Nigeria Incubation Programme 2024

Applications are now open for the Orange Corners Nigeria Incubation Programme 2024, a collaboration between the Kingdom of the Netherlands and FATE Foundation. The program is thrilled to welcome applicants for its 12th cohort in Lagos!

For over five years, Orange Corners Nigeria has empowered ambitious entrepreneurs to transform their visions into successful businesses, supporting 220 enterprises across 11 cohorts. These transformations showcase the powerful impact of the Orange Corners ecosystem on young Nigerian entrepreneurs.

About the Program

Funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Lagos and implemented by FATE Foundation, Orange Corners Nigeria is dedicated to building a thriving entrepreneurial community in Nigeria. The program equips young entrepreneurs with essential skills, knowledge, and support to create sustainable economic opportunities within their communities.

Programme Benefits

Thanks to the support of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and other partners, the program is free for entrepreneurs selected for the Bootcamp and incubation stages. This includes a scholarship covering all course fees. The 6-month incubation program offers:

  • In-person capacity-building sessions
  • Business advisory and mentorship
  • Industry visits and networking events

The program will be delivered both in-person and virtually, giving participants flexibility in learning.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be between 18 – 35 years old
  • Live in Lagos
  • Be at the concept validation stage for their business
  • Operate in one of the preferred sectors: Circular Economy, Agriculture, Health, Water Solutions, or Tech
  • Focus on gender balance within their business
  • Be computer literate with access to a laptop or data-enabled device

Application Process

Stage I: Interested applicants should complete the online application form and upload the following documents:

  • Passport photo
  • School certificate or statement of results
  • Birth certificate
  • CAC Registration (optional)

Stage II: After reviewing all applications, 30 candidates will be invited to a 2-day Bootcamp, which includes a Pitch Competition. This competition will determine the top 20 participants for each stream to join the Incubation Programme.
