Are you a cybersecurity expert from the Caribbean looking to make a real impact? The Commonwealth Caribbean Cyber Experts Fellowship 2024 offers you a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge, build partnerships, and influence cybersecurity policies across the region.
About the Fellowship
This fellowship provides a platform for selected cybersecurity professionals from Commonwealth countries in the Caribbean to connect, collaborate, and contribute to the policy work of the Commonwealth Secretariat.
Fellows will serve a two-year term, during which they’ll gain exclusive access to academic research opportunities, networking events, and annual conferences—all focused on strengthening cybersecurity policies, processes, and institutions in the Caribbean.
This inaugural fellowship cycle is proudly supported by the United Kingdom’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
It’s a key initiative in delivering the Commonwealth Cyber Declaration, a framework established in 2018 to promote a secure and prosperous cyberspace for the 2.7 billion citizens of the Commonwealth.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this fellowship, you must:
- Be a citizen of a Commonwealth country in the Caribbean.
- Be between the ages of 25 and 60.
- Have at least five years of experience working in cybersecurity, law, policymaking, telecommunications, academia, or a related sector.
