Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Deakin University Postgraduate Research Scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Eligible Countries: All countries
• Enrollment: Must be enrolled in a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) course at Deakin University
• Additional Eligibility for RTP Fees Offset: Applicants must not be receiving an equivalent award or scholarship designed to offset HDR fees
• Additional Eligibility for RTP or DUPRS Stipend: Applicants must not receive income from another source that supports living costs greater than 75% of the RTP or DUPRS Stipend rate

• Completion of a research project, including a thesis equivalent to at least 25% of a full-time year of study at Level 8 or 9 of the Australian Qualifications Framework with a grade equivalent to Deakin’s 70% or higher

For Master Degree Applicants:

• Completion of a research project, including a thesis equivalent to at least 25% of a full-time year of study at Level 8 or 9 of the Australian Qualifications Framework with a grade equivalent to Deakin’s 65% or higher
