Responsibilities (What you will be doing)
- Provide first-level technical support to Jumia employees and departments
- Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Help maintain and update IT inventory and asset management systems
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of IT documentation and user guides
- Assist in setting up and configuring workstations and mobile devices
- Support the implementation of IT security best practices
- Help monitor and maintain network performance and connectivity
- Assist in user account management and access control

- Participate in IT projects and initiatives as assigned
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues
- Assist in providing support for Jumia’s e-commerce platforms and internal tools
- Help in organizing and conducting basic IT training sessions for employees.
Criterias (What we are looking for)
- Fresh graduates or currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
- Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms and operations (preferred)
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service management principles (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- English proficiency.
