These stories aren’t just about learning—they’re about inspiring students to think critically, understand the world around them, and take action on the issues that matter most.
This Fall’s Theme: Making Connections to Global Health Stories
This fall, our Teacher Fellows will explore the theme of Making Connections to Global Health Stories. In this paid, virtual fellowship, you’ll join up to 14 other passionate educators, award-winning journalists, and the Pulitzer Center education team for six engaging workshops.
Together, you’ll dive into global health stories that get students thinking critically about big topics, make connections to their own communities, and find ways to use their learning to tackle health issues close to home.
By the end of the fellowship, you’ll have crafted a meaningful learning experience centered around a key news story, leading to an activity that empowers students to take action.
As a Fellow, you’ll also get to share your experience by publishing a blog post or lesson plan that captures how your students engaged with the material and took action.
