Job Summary

  • You work close with all Siemens Energy Regional commercial teams and customers where you provide technical sales and sales support for our product line products including opportunity identification, qualification, evaluation, and pursuit through order capture with particular emphasis on deployment of Siemens Energy technology solutions where applicable via an engineered solutions offering.
  • As the technology expert for the assigned Region you develop solutions to potential customers in conjunction with the Region and extended Siemens Energy Commercial Teams.

How You’ll Make an Impact  

  • Develop comprehensive list of regional customers, develop, and execute sales strategies for customers with region client facing teams
  • Proactively develop new opportunities and leads
  • Manage the sales force funnel by timely documenting the life cycle of the opportunity and ensure all opportunities are properly entered into Sales Force.com – forecasted and tracked to closure
  • Provide voice of the client needs/competitive intelligence, market drivers and buying influences for the development of new product and service offerings.
  • Create and Identify qualify opportunities through a selectivity process to determine bid strategy and solution.
  • Interface with Client, Region, and operations teams during acquisition and execution process (specific responsibility for accurate proposal development), order entry & execution. Thorough understanding of project scope and communicating of requirements to the IPS team.
  • Create and maintain an annual territory/bookings strategy/plan to meet/exceed a year over year operating plan
  • Train and educate the client facing team on new service offerings within the product line responsibility.

What You Bring 

  • BSME or BSEE preferred or 15+ years of experience in the Aeroderivative Industry
  • Extensive sales and or commercial development experience and or technical experience and knowhow including contract and order negotiation on LM2500 and LM6000.
  • Extensive product knowledge on LM2500 and LM6000
  • English is required.

Title: Financial Project Manager

Job Description

  • In your role as Financial Project Manager you will be responsible for the local commercial and financial execution of long-term maintenance contracts for large gas turbines in Côte d’Ivoire and neighbouring countries. You will be doing this in close cooperation with the Project Manager.
  • Your focus areas will be cost controlling, reporting, risk, claim and cash management.
  • In this role you will be in direct contact with the customer as well as a large variety of internal departments like supply chain management, insurance, tax, legal and logistics.

  • Ensure the accuracy of books and record and support the monthly closing, including recording of such in the appropriate systems, e.g. SAP, Project Dash – ensures compliance with Siemens-FRG plus the local IFRS
  • Ensure all related Project Reporting and Controlling activities.
  • Support the Project Manager that the financial results according to set targets are managed with due professional care and optimizes the project gross profit, cash flow and assets and financing instruments.
  • Support commercial sales for local services and local share for complex LTP´s and fleet management contracts

What You Bring

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business / Finance, or related discipline
  • Proven Financial Project Management experience of 2 – 5 years
  • Knowledge of IFRS and Ivorian accounting regulations
  • Fluently communicates with both team members and management during the project lifecycle.
  • Build and work with cross-functional/ international teams (HUB, Headquarters, etc.)
  • Skills: analysis ability, accuracy, good communication and interaction ability with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Tools: Proficiency in Excel, experience with ERP (ideally SAP)
  • Languages: Perfect command of French and proficient in English, both written and spoken.

  • The main objective of this role is to support the Service Center in providing repair solutions and services to our customers from order intake to successful order execution in timely, safely, and with accurate responses to customer’s requests and needs.
  • Plans non-routine repairs and maintenance activities, and leads respective projects, in cooperation with The Maintenance Engineer & Service Center Manager 

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Technical Expertise: Dedicated individual with a strong technical background with focus on creating innovative repair strategies for complex machinery. (Centrifugal & Reciprocating Compressors, Pumps, and other turbomachinery equipment)
  • To report directly to the Service Center Manager & functionally report to Service Center Maintenance Engineer 
  • Service Center Support: To support service center repairs, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Collaborating with other functions; technical support, client facing, field service, project managing, order management, marketing & sales, and commercial teams. This role is crucial in keeping customer fleets operational. 
  • Engineering Assessment: To learn intricate design details of multiple products, providing guidance to service centers. Part of the responsibilities will include but not limited to managing and resolving issues related to assembly, repair, and replacement of equipment. 
  • Work Instructions and Quality: Provide concise and descriptive work instructions to shop floor for execution, referencing all appropriate repair and factory specifications.
  • The individual will be responsible to develop digital inspection forms, work instructions, and quality & inspection test plans. Additionally, the individual will assess non-conforming components and generate repair recommendations and reports. 
  • Project Execution: Review contractual terms and conditions for service specifications.  Comply with client and internal quality standards. Manage the scope, schedule, and cost of repair projects in execution at the Service Center.
  • Create inspection reports and repair proposal for overhauling of turbomachinery equipment. Reviewing of bill of materials and manufacturing drawings to compile list of replacement parts. Closely monitor ongoing job- cost to ensure close adherence to budget. 
  • Documentation: Prepare and deliver project documentation and progress reports for internal and external customers. Support maintenance of technical documentations of process and equipment   
  • Safety: Assist with and support the various safety projects and initiatives within the Service Center. Strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Quality. 

What You Bring 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering. 
  • 3+ years of experience with rotating machinery. 
  • Familiarity with steam turbines and/or gas compressors is advantageous. 
  • Proficiency in software tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power-Point, Microsoft Project) and basic
  • 2D/3D software. 
  • A team player attitude, working well with others.
