Remote Operations Analyst Metis Capital Partners
For a remote position, Metis Capital Partners is looking for a driven Operations Analyst with two to five years of experience.
The ideal applicant will work with many stakeholders, including legal, financial, accounting, and regulatory teams, to analyze and lead projects predominantly in the real estate and energy industries.
Significant exposure to a range of private company activities will be provided by this role, offering the chance to leave a lasting impression on portfolio companies such as Duval Properties (real estate) and Nimbel Shaw (agricultural). Essential skills include self-motivation, quantitative analysis, and stakeholder management.
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (Second Class Upper)
Experience Level: Entry level
Experience Length: 2-5 years
Key Responsibilities:
Operations:
- Coordinate with contractors, accountants, lawyers, and other service providers to ensure project progression.
- Lead and manage incubation projects for new business lines from the family office (e.g., Nimbel Shaw, Duval Properties).
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as government agencies, investors, legal, HR, and accounting to create value for new ventures.
- Provide regular status updates and address challenges swiftly to keep projects on track.

Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify investment opportunities aligned with the family’s business goals.
- Perform financial analysis and modeling, particularly focused on real estate, and evaluate the financial performance of existing assets.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve the performance of existing investments.
Partner Collaboration:
- Build and maintain relationships with investment partners and other relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in meetings to discuss potential collaborations and joint ventures.
- Negotiate favorable terms to support the family office’s strategic goals.
Other Responsibilities:
- Manage the documentation process for deals.
- Organize meetings and prepare call summaries.
- Provide first-level support for AV and conference call setups as needed.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields. Advanced certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are an advantage.
- Experience: 2-5 years in a similar operations role.
- Mindset: A passion for investing, building businesses, and strong self-motivation for autonomous work.
- Skills: Strong communication, relationship-building skills, and a deep curiosity for different business models.
